The sun is out, and today I saw the first rainbows floating around my living room. I have a prism hanging in my dining room window, and around this time each year, the rainbows begin to dance around my walls. Usually I don't notice them this early, because I've been at work, however, being newly unemployed has changed things for me.
My son was also home sick today, and with little to do (trying to motivate myself everyday to tackle a new chore around the house), I decided to wash my outside windows, paving the way for even more rainbows (that sounds really cheesy, but it's accurate). I haven't been eating very much lately, although I did go for a wonderful, cheap breakfast with a couple of my dearest friends yesterday. I need to take a few things out of the freezer to defrost, so that I can begin my new goal of making at least three meals from scratch each week for my son and I.
No drive, no spend day, and also got a claim number from the Police for a dent in my car that I'm about to have repaired. I've waited about 11 months to fix this dent, primarily because I wasn't in a rush to pay the deductible...must move now, though, as the claim won't be processed after twelve months.
Glad to have posted for the first time, nothing too much going on, but can cross it off my list, and begin to add more interesting posts tomorrow.
